Spring Break in Southern California doesn’t usual conjure up images of snow and powder turns. Big Bear is working to change that for families who looking to get a last blast of winter. From March 4 to April 14, kids get free mid-week lift tickets, good at Big Bear or Snow Summit, provided the family books with a Big Bear lodging partner. The deal is limited to one kid’s ticket per adult ticket purchased.

Families Get Relief This Spring Break with Free Ski Lift Tickets for Kids
Big Bear Lake, Calif. March 5, 2013 – This spring break Big Bear puts smiles on faces for kids and parents alike with free lift tickets for kids! The kids like this because they get the chance to play in snow for spring break, and parents especially like this deal because they get a break on their pocketbooks! The program called Kids Ski / Ride for Free gives kids the opportunity to ski or ride for free at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain weekdays now through April 14, or until the mountain resorts close for the season. This special offer does require an overnight stay Sunday through Thursday at the time of booking.
“Spring break is just around the corner, so this special offer makes it the perfect getaway for families,” said Big Bear Lake Resort Association Director of Operations Rebecca Hrabia. “Free tickets for the kids and great skiing for everyone in the family! What more could you ask for?”
The Kids Ski / Ride for Free package must include lodging at one of Big Bear’s participating lodges. One free kid’s lift ticket voucher will be given for each paying adult lift ticket. Free kids tickets are valid for kids 12 years and under. Lift tickets are good for either or both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Packages are good for lodging arrivals Sunday through Thursday and skiing or snowboarding Monday through Friday. Midweek skiing is especially valuable with no wait time at the chair lifts and the runs are wide open. Lift ticket vouchers are not valid on weekends. This offer may not be used with any other discount and other restrictions may apply.
